Middle East Revolutions

After months of protests and rebellions across the Middle East, several of the monarchies are now beginning to clamp down and tighten control throughout the Middle East.  This is sure to have mixed results.  No doubt it will mean temporary stability for the current leaders but at what price?  The Arab Spring has been a momentous event and it continues but inevitably our attention will wane.  One area that still suffers is certainly Libya.  This is rapidly becoming a horrible humanitarian crisis and is creating a strain on Tunisia which has its own problems - after all, Tunisia led the charge of Arab protests with the Jasmine Revolution in January.  If your looking for a good primer to get "caught up" on the uprisings that have occurred throughout the Middle East, the BBC ran a country by country analysis that might be of help.
